One of the most important services of Oasis is the provision of mental health training programmes which aim to enhance colleagues' resilience, critical incident management, professional skills etc. The centre also helps design and deliver training activities upon the request of hospitals and departments.

Service Scope
Healthcare professionals face numerous challenges and stressful situations every day. It is the goal of Oasis
to offer programmes that can enhance staff's resilience to adversity and stress. The programmes help
colleagues understand the causes of stress, methods to manage stress and relaxation techniques. The
programmes also help nurture a positive mindset and attitude to improve mental and physical health.

Oasis provides certificate courses based on the Critical Incident Stress Management model to Critical Incident
Support Team (CIST) members to enhance their techniques in handling critical incidents.

Evidence-based professional training services are provided to managerial and frontline staff to enhance
their skills in relieving the anxiety of patients and their family, and providing appropriate support. Our
training can also refine staff’s interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate teamwork, and boost
the performance of the entire department to optimize service provision.
